The short version
- We collect only what we need to run Branly: your contact details, the website and brands you ask us to track, and basic technical data.
- We use it to run your checks, show your results, make the fixes you approve, and keep the service secure.
- We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
- You can see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Write to our Grievance Officer, named below.
1. Who we are
Branly is run by [BrightSense Tech Private Limited] ("Branly", "we", "us"), a company registered in India with its office at [registered address].
This policy covers our website, branly.ai, and the Branly product, including sign-up at brightsense.tech. It explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. We follow India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and we have written this policy to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules.
2. What we collect and why

Much of what Branly measures is public information about companies and the answers AI assistants give. That is not personal data, and this policy does not restrict it.
3. Your consent
When you sign up, book a call or write to us, you agree to us using your data for the purposes listed above, and nothing else. You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by writing to [grievance email] or from your account settings [confirm this exists]. If you withdraw consent, we stop using your data, but we may not be able to keep providing the service.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the companies that help us run Branly, and only what each one needs. They act on our instructions and are bound by contract to protect it.
- Hosting and storage: Google Cloud, with your data stored in India. We plan to move to Amazon Web Services, also in India [confirm AWS region].
- AI services used to run your checks: we reach the AI assistants through Cloro, a gateway service. We send the questions we track and the names of the brands involved. We do not send your personal details.
- Search and website data: DataForSEO, a data service we use to collect public search and website data [Bhavesh to confirm what it collects].
- Email: [email provider], to send you account and service emails.
- Call booking: Calendly, when you book a call.
- Payments: [payment provider, if any].
We may also share data when the law requires it, for example with a court or government authority, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.
5. Data stored outside India
Some of the companies above may store or process data outside India. When that happens, we make sure the transfer is allowed under Indian law and that the data stays protected. We will follow any restrictions the Government of India places on transfers to particular countries.
6. How we protect it
We use reasonable security safeguards, including encryption of data in transit [and at rest, to confirm with the cloud provider], access limited to the people who need it, logs of who accessed personal data, and regular backups.
If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you without delay: what happened, what it means for you, and what we are doing about it. We will also report it to the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct, complete or update it;
- erase it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
- stop using it, by withdrawing your consent;
- let someone else act for you if you die or cannot act yourself (you can name that person).
To use any of these rights, write to our Grievance Officer. We will reply within 30 days.
8. Cookies
Our website uses [only the cookies it needs to work / name any analytics or other cookies]. Some parts of the page, such as fonts and the Calendly booking page, are loaded from other companies, who can see your IP address when they load.
9. Children
Branly is a service for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe we have, write to us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is important, we will also tell you by email before it takes effect.
