Best AI visibility tools for Indian brands, 2026

We read 55 Indian AI visibility tools and 11 global ones from their own websites and graded six features, from where the answers come from to whether a fix moved the AI answer. One tool shows five of six. Seventeen show none.

55 Indian AI visibility tools graded on six features: Branly shows 5 of 6, the next two tools 4 of 6, seventeen tools 0 of 6

TL;DR

We graded 55 Indian and 11 global AI visibility tools on six features, counting a feature only when the vendor's own site shows it.

Branly shows five of the six. The next two Indian tools show four. Seventeen show none. No global tool shows a fix moving an AI answer.

Below $26 a month you buy a score on AI-generated questions. The full chain, from buyer question to fix to changed answer, is shown by one tool.

One tool shows five of six. We built it.

We read 55 Indian AI visibility tools from their own websites and checked six features against one rule: a feature counts only if the company shows it, in docs, a screenshot, a pricing table or a help page. Marketing copy alone is a claim. Silence is a no.

On that rule, Branly shows five of the six. The next two tools show four. Seventeen show none.

We are the author of this list, so the rule had to be one we could lose on. We did lose on one column, and it is marked below.

Why a rule, and not a ranking by opinion

Search "best AI visibility tools India" and the top results are written by the tools themselves. Shiprocket's AiTLAS ranks AiTLAS first. Adexorb's list ranks its own IndexGraph first. Listable Labs ranks Listable Labs first. None of them says what a tool has to show to earn its place.

So we wrote the test down first and graded everyone against it, ourselves included. You can check every cell on the vendor's own site. If we got a row wrong, the address to write to is at the end.

The six features an AI visibility tool has to show

A brand asks one question: when a buyer asks ChatGPT or Gemini for a recommendation, are we named, and can we change that? Answering it takes six features, in order. A tool that stops early leaves the brand to do the rest by hand.

FeatureWhat counts as shown
Inside the appsAnswers are collected from the consumer apps people use, not the developer API, and the method is described. The app has web search on, memory and a different system prompt, so the API answer is not the app answer
Buyer evidenceThe questions tracked come from real buyer wording (search data, marketplace autocomplete, support logs) by a described method. Questions generated by AI from your website, or typed by you, count as no
Rivals comparedNamed competitors are scored on the same question set
Writes the fixA specific change to a specific page on your site, not a new article
Ships the fixThe product publishes or applies the change, with your approval
Fix moved the answerA shipped fix tied to a before and after in the AI answer itself

Daily tracking is not a column. Every tool does it, so it separates nobody.

How we graded

We started from 115 Indian companies that sell AI visibility: every tool in our competition tracker, a fresh sweep for launches since April 2026, and a deep-research pass. Of those, 55 are live software products. Ten more block automated reading and are not graded. Thirty-four have no product: a landing page, a report service or an agency. Around 1,200 Indian agencies list GEO or AEO as a service; they are counted, not graded.

Each of the 55 was read from its own site on 18 October 2026, twice: home page, pricing page and docs. Prices are the lowest paid plan a month, in US dollars. Tools that price in rupees are converted at ₹95 to the dollar and marked with a dagger (†).

What the field shows, and what it claims

FeatureShownClaimed onlyNeither
Rivals compared34174
Ships the fix11935
Writes the fix112717
Fix moved the answer32725

Read the table top to bottom and the field sorts itself.

The first feature is solved. Thirty-four of 55 tools show rivals scored on the same questions. If a tool cannot do this, it is behind the field.

The middle is where the claims pile up. Twenty-seven tools claim to write a fix; eleven show one. And most of what is shown is a new article or a schema file, not a change to a page the brand already has.

The last feature is where the field stops. Twenty-seven tools say a fix moved the AI answer. Three show it. On the other 24 sites, every example is labelled illustrative, uses sample data, or has no method.

The tools that show the most

Sixteen tools show two or more of the six features. Here they are, ranked by what they show. Our row follows the same rule. Prices and engines for every tool are in the full grid at the end.

● shown. ○ claimed only. – not offered. ? site could not be read on that point. Columns: Apps is inside the apps, Buyer is buyer evidence, Rivals is rivals compared, Writes and Ships are the fix, Moved is fix moved the answer. Every mark records what the company's own website showed when we read it on 18 October 2026, and nothing more.

*AnswerTrace compares its own readiness scores before and after a fix, not the AI answer. Depra AI shows visibility before and after an action and says on its own page that this does not prove the action caused the change. Branly records the AI answer itself, before a fix ships and after, per fix.

The other 39 tools, with one or zero features shown, are in the full grid at the end.

What you get at each level

Trackers, $8 to $26 a month. GenerativeSEO, AITLAS, IndexGraph, HawkOrbit, AnswerTrace, Depra AI and Pallix all price in rupees at this level, under ₹2,500 a month. What they show is the first feature: your brand and your rivals scored on a set of questions. Where the questions come from is the catch. On every one of these except RetailGEO, the questions are generated by AI from your website or typed in by you. You are tracking the vendor's guess at your buyer, not your buyer. The one tool that shows an app-level collection method, Depra AI, generates its questions the same way and writes no fixes.

Fix tools, $29 to $299 a month. TofuBofu, Paprik, PageLens, Seerly, FixAEO and the rest show a fix of some kind. Look at what the fix is. For most it is a new article, a comparison page, or a schema file pasted into the site. Paprik is the exception that drafts changes to an existing page, section by section, and it cannot publish them yet. Nothing at this level shows what happened to the AI answer afterwards.

The full chain, $399 a month. Branly is the one Indian tool that shows every feature from the buyer's question to the changed answer. The question set is built from buyer evidence by a published method, so what we track is what people ask, not what we guessed. Rivals are scored on the same questions. The fix is a change to a specific page, written for you. It ships with your approval. And the AI answer is recorded before the fix and after it, per fix, so you can see which change moved which answer.

The price is about 35 times the $11 floor, and that is the honest objection. The answer is in the table: below $26 you buy a score. At $399 you buy the score, the fix and the proof.

The global tools, graded the same way

An Indian buyer will also look at the tools the US and Europe use. We read eleven of them with the same rule, up to five pages each. Branly's row is repeated for comparison. Entry prices run from $29 a month (Otterly) to $900 (Gushwork); Profound is priced on request. Writesonic and Gushwork are Indian-founded.

Two things to take from it.

The global tools are stronger at the start of the chain. Peec (Berlin), Promptwatch (Amsterdam), Evertune (New York), Semrush and Ahrefs all document collecting answers from the real apps, and Semrush, Ahrefs and Evertune build questions from search or panel data. That is the column where we are still marked claimed.

They are weaker at the end. Profound has raised $335 million and shows one feature. Nobody in this table shows a fix tied to a change in the AI answer. None has rupee pricing, and only Semrush publishes prompt volumes for India. On the feature that decides whether the money was worth spending, an Indian tool at $399 is ahead of the field.

Five questions to ask any vendor, including us

  1. Where does the answer come from, the app or the API? Ask for the page that says so. Our answer today: claimed, page in progress.
  2. Where do the questions come from? If the answer is "our AI generates them from your website", you are tracking a guess. Ours come from buyer evidence, by a method you can read.
  3. Show me a rival scored on the same questions, in a screenshot, not a sample dashboard.
  4. Show me one fix to one existing page, and what shipped it.
  5. Show me one before and after, in the AI answer, with the date the fix went live. If the example says illustrative, ask for one that does not.

Fifty-two of the 55 Indian tools in this list cannot answer question five, and none of the global ones can. Ask it first.
